Lyme Regis Charter Open Boat Competition.

GENERAL RULES.
(Additional to NFSA Boat Competition Rules)

1. The competition will be fished aboard Lyme Regis based charter boats. (Any additional charter boats, nominated by the organisers, must pick up and land competitors at Lyme Regis Harbour.)

2. All entries direct to Organiser’s Rep Mr.Ron Bailey, not to individual skippers.

3. Competitors will draw for boat places and boat fishing positions at 7am each morning, on The Cobb.

4. Skippers will maintain the score sheets and each competitor will sign to verify their score at the end of each days fishing.

5. Only one rod with a maximum of three hooks can be used.

6. The competition will be based on a points per species format. A maximum of 10 of each species to count.
There will be bonus points for top five positions on each boat. The winner being the competitor with the highest score on any one-day. In the event of a tie the competitor with the highest number of fish recorded on any one day will be awarded the prize.There will be additional awards for best specimens of any species.

7. All fish must be over the NFSA minimum size to count.

8. No boats to leave harbour area before 0730hrs. The fishing area will be within a 20-mile radius from Lyme Regis Harbour.
Fishing times will be 0900hrs to 1530hrs.
Fishing may be at anchor or on the drift.
Weigh-in for specimen fish will be on The Cobb with scales closing at 1730hrs.
All score sheets must be handed in at the scales by closing time.

9. All complaints must be put in writing and handed to the organisers within 30 minutes of scales closing.

10. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather an alternative date will be nominated. Competition entrance fee refunds, less proper expenses i.e. postage, printing etc, will be given on request.

11. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone, at any time and their decision is final.

12. A JUNIOR is a person who is aged under 16 years on the day of the Competition.
