The Club has a Leader and Staff.
It is open 41 weeks of the year on Thursdays for the 8 to under 12 year olds and on Fridays for the 12 to 16 year olds.
There is a youth committee selected from the various age groups.

The club is funded by grants from the Dorset Youth Service, Town Council and other organisations in the Town.
Our aim is to promote the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people so that they grow into self confident responsible adults.
We are in partnership with Dorset County Council Youth Service and affiliated to the National Association of Boys' Clubs.

The building was once the Parish Church Hall and was used by the American Army during the last world war. It was acquired by the Boys Club in 1978 and extensively refurbished in 1993.

There are facilities for indoor football, table tennis, hockey, junior tennis, pool, basketball and there is a Tuck Shop.
Functions can be held in the hall which has a permanent stage.

The premises can be let for INDOOR CAMPING for groups of young people.
