Lyme Regis is often called the Pearl of Dorset, it is a sleepy fishing village that has very successfully turned it's hand to tourism in recent years whilst retaining the fishing back-drop.

Situated on the border between West Dorset and East Devon right in the middle of the jurassic Coast there is no better place to base yourself when visiting either of these two beautiful counties or the spectacular coast. It doesn't matter if your interests lie in beach holidays, activity days out, fossil hunting or relaxing in restaurants and bars, Lyme Regis has it all to offer.

Today Lyme Regis entertains her guests with beautiful coastal views and a plethora of events throughout the warmer months such as it’s mad Lifeboat week full of fun on the water from the old harbour, a fabulous and very popular Jazz Festival and of course, driven by Mary Annings famous discoveries locally, the Fossil Festival.
