The Little Rose B&B – Lyme Regis

The Little Rose of Lyme Regis B&B is one of Lyme’s earliest surviving houses built in the latter part of the 16th century.

Enjoy a full English breakfast in the warm friendly atmosphere, and of course the attractive wood panelling (Georgian or possibly earlier).

The breakfast room looking out into Church Street which is only 1 minute walk across to the seafront surrounded by the Dorset Jurassic coastline and beautiful countryside.

A short stroll along the Marine Parade and you will find The Cobb – featured in the film “The French Lieutenant’s Woman”.

Lyme Regis is very famous for its fossils and there have been some rare finds dating back to Jurassic times.

In this historical town, you will find a variety of shops. tea rooms and restaurants including famous chef Mark Hix who opened his new restaurant in May 2009 – His Oyster & Fish house in Cobb Road is highly recommended.

Lyme Regis is the smallest town in the country to have it’s own cinema – built in 1937 showing weekly films.
Also worth a visit is the museum and shop off Church Street.
