The hotel is a true celebration of interior design, where old meets new and contemporary fittings and the latest technology blend seamlessly with majestic period features. There are 14 comfortable guest rooms – all en-suite – and many boast inspiring views of the sea.
The building is drenched in a rich and absorbing history. Beatrix Potter was inspired to write ‘The Tale of Little Pig Robinson’ while staying at the hotel when she was just 17. And many of her illustrations in the book are based on the spectacular scenery she encountered while visiting Lyme Regis and the neighbouring towns and regions.
