Seaton is at the heart of the only
natural world Heritage site in Great Britain; the Jurassic Coast.
The Axe estuary is a haven for wildlife and winds its way down to
the sea beneath Haven Cliffs.
Ten minutes drive to the east is Lyme Regis and to the west the
fishing village of Beer and the Regency town of Sidmouth. |
Freddie can arrange for guests to have a round at the local golf
course, Axecliff Golf Club, Axmouth. There is also the Seaton
Marshes local nature reserve adjacent to the Axe Estuary,
wonderful for bird watchers etc. Also, the area is great for
fishing, out on a boat or on the river Axe. |
