The M.F.V. NEPTUNE is 10 meters (33ft.) in length, built to an American design in 1982. As far as we know, only two were built.  She is powered by a 210hp-caterpillar engine giving her a top speed of 13 knot
NEPTUNE benefits from a wheelhouse with a full array of electronics, (Fish Finder, Navigator, Auto Pilot (etc), a galley with cooker and sink plus the ever essential "flushing toilet".  Having recently undergone a major refit, NEPTUNE is a very comfortable platform for Fishing, Diving, Film work, Parties, Corporate events etc.
NEPTUNE is licensed and insured for 12 passengers, up to a distance of 60 miles and conforms to the current Code Of Practice laid down by various government marine agencies.
NEPTUNE offers any kind of boat trip for any duration.

8 HOUR DEEP SEA
These trips are usually taken up by Clubs, Groups, Experienced Individuals etc
Novice anglers are more than welcome.

Bait and tackle can be provided.  In summer we catch mackerel for bait en-route. In winter frozen mackerel is available with anglers bringing any additional baits they require such as worm. crab ,squid ,sand-eel etc.
    Angling takes place anything up to 10-12 miles out.
Reduced rates are available for mid-week bookings between October and April.

3 Hour Deep Sea

These trips are designed for children or the beginner and is considered to be introduction to Sea Angling.
Those more experienced Anglers who only require a short trip are also welcome

        Full instructions can be given and tackle can be supplied.
We usually fish approximately 3 miles from Lyme Regis Harbour.

NEPTUNE operates a conservation policy. You are welcome to keep what you catch, but we would rather see them in the sea than in a bin.
 
 
 
 
 
 

DIVING

Lyme Regis has become very popular with divers because of the large number of wrecks in the Bay.
Air can be arranged but we do not carry 02.
Trips of any duration are available.

BREAKFAST & PACKED LUNCHES

Breakfast can be arranged for the early risers at the Beach House Cafe (100 yards from the boat). They will open from 7am, all year round, but need notifying in advance.

Packed Lunches are available; these must be ordered and paid for in advance.

Tea and Coffee are supplied aboard but you should provide your own cold drinks. Squash is always available for children.

ME THE SKIPPER PETE

After spending 7 years in the Royal Navy and 22 years in the Fire Service (both acquainting me with water) I arrived in Lyme Regis.  I acted as unpaid crew on local boats in order to qualify as a D.O.T. Boatmaster of the Royal Yatching Association's Coastal Licence (20 miles) and am a member of the
 Professional Boatmans Association.
