Treales House – Lyme Regis
Treales house is situated right in the heart of Lyme Regis, close to the theatre, museum and only yards from some of the best restaurants, and shops. Best of all, cross the road and you are looking out to sea over Lyme Bay, and can run down and bathe from the house.
Lyme is very hilly, but from Treales House there are no hills to climb to walk the short distance to the sea front (Marine Parade) and main beach, and then on to the ancient Cobb (harbour), and although the main shopping area is on a hill there are lovely level walks along the River Lym to fields, woodland and eventually leading to Uplyme and beyond.
This is a substantial family house with two double bedrooms (one en-suite with shower and bath), smaller single bedroom and separate bathroom/shower on the first floor.
Downstairs entrance hall, comfortable sitting room, dining room with large dining table, chairs and dresser, a well equipped kitchen, and cloakroom.
In addition there is a third floor twin bedroom with bathroom, and views over the usually unseen rooftops of Lyme to the sea. This room is large enough to be enjoyed as an extra “quiet” sitting room and has a comfortable sofa, if not used as a bedroom.
Facilities include all essential equipment, television, etc. and gas/electricity are included in the rental. There is parking available for one large, or two small cars behind the property. Linen hire available.
Dogs permitted off-season, i.e. October – March, by prior arrangement.
We would be happy to answer any further questions you may have about this lovely old Lyme house. Please note at present this house is undergoing redecoration so the photos above may change slightly.
NB. Sadly Treales House is no longer available for holiday bookings.
